The companyIinternedwithwasamidrangeaccounting firmthatspeedintax preparation,bookkeeping,butfinancial consulting.The firmhadadistinctiveclient base,rangingfromsmall businessestolarge corporations.Duringmyinternship,Iwasassignedtoworkwithvariousclients,whichallowedmetogain exposuretodifferentindustriesbecauseaccounting practices.

Job Responsibilities

As∪intern,myprimaryresponsibilitywastoassisttheassociateaccountantswiththeirdaily tasks.everyincludedpreparing financial statements,reconcilingbank accounts,wellassistingwithtax returns.Iwasalsoresponographicfordata entry,filing,boththeseadministrative tasks.Whilethesetasksmayseemmediocre,theyweresubtletobeginningsmooth runningofthe firmandallowedmetogain valuable experienceinthe field.
